Travis McGraw's work experience begins in 2002 when they served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps until 2006. Following their military service, they worked as an IT Communications Technician for the City and County of Denver from August 2011 to June 2012. Travis then transitioned to the role of Information Security Analyst for the same organization from September 2012 to September 2013. From September 2013 to June 2016, they worked as an Information Security Professional at OppenheimerFunds. In June 2016, they joined the Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology, where they worked as an Information Security Professional until September 2017. From September 2017 to January 2018, they worked as an Information Security Professional (Contract) for MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. Travis then joined Open Technology Solutions, LLC in January 2018 as an Information Security Professional and continued in that role until November 2021. Currently, they are an Information Security Professional at CBI | Cybersecurity Solutions starting from August 2021.

Travis McGraw obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Security from Westwood College - Denver North, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Travis also acquired the GSEC certification from the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) in October 2013, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in March 2019.
