Ellen Wisbar

Ellen Wisbar is a seasoned CPA who currently serves as the National Director of Ethics and Independence at CBIZ CPAs P.C., where they oversee the firm's independence function and provide guidance on ethics-related matters. Previously, Ellen held the position of Director of Independence at CBIZ, where they developed systems to monitor independence and resolved conflicts for the organization. With a career that began at KPMG, Ellen progressed from assistant accountant to Senior Manager, specializing in audits and compliance. Ellen also has a history of advocating for women in business, having served on the CBIZ Women's Advantage Executive Board for six years. Ellen earned a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University.
