Nicholas Kostopoulos

Nicholas Kostopoulos, CPA, is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in managing tax work for various accounts. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Marcum LLP since September 2022, Nicholas oversees the day-to-day tax operations, reviews tax returns for diverse entities including partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, individuals, and trusts, and trains staff while acting as the primary client contact. Previous roles include Senior Manager, Tax Manager, Senior Tax Accountant, and Tax Semi-Senior at Friedman LLP from January 2018 to September 2022, and Tax Associate at WeiserMazars LLP from January 2016 to December 2017, focusing on real estate tax. Nicholas began a career in taxation as a Tax Intern and accumulated foundational experience at Val Executive Resources Group and RJM Acquisitions LLC before obtaining a Master of Science in Accounting from CUNY Brooklyn College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Culture, and Communications from New York University.
