Samuel Scherr

Samuel Scherr, CPA, currently serves as Managing Director at CBIZ, a position held since November 2024. Previously, Samuel was a Partner in the Alternative Investment Group at Marcum LLP from January 2023 to November 2024, specializing in tax compliance and consulting services for private equity and non-traditional investment funds. Prior to Marcum LLP, Samuel spent over a decade at PwC, advancing from Tax Associate to Tax Senior Manager from July 2011 to January 2023. Samuel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, graduating in 2010.
