Marie Nazombe

Marie Nazombe has extensive work experience in various organizations. Marie started their career at Romsey Mill in 2007, where they served as a Fundraising & Communications Manager. Marie'sresponsibilities included raising funds, managing a team, and building relationships with stakeholders. In 2013, they joined Camfed as a Development Manager. From 2014 to 2016, Marie worked at SOS Children's Villages International, primarily focusing on institutional partnerships and trusts & foundations fundraising. In 2016, they joined Self Help Africa as an Interim Programme Funding Manager. Marie'swork involved managing program funding. Marie then joined The SEED Project in 2005, where they played a pivotal role as a Co-Founding Trustee and later as the Operations Manager. Currently, they are employed at CBM UK as the Head of Programme Funding, responsible for managing the funding for various programs.

Marie Nazombe obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theology/Theological Studies from the University of Cambridge. Marie pursued this degree from 1998 to 2001. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they attended the Institute of Fundraising to gain a Certificate in Fundraising Management.
