Danielle Grümer

Head of Concept Design CECIL at CBR Fashion Holding AG

Danielle Grümer has extensive experience in the fashion industry, with a career spanning over 25 years. Danielle has held various roles in top fashion companies, demonstrating their expertise and creativity in design and product development.

In 1994, Grümer started their career at Esprit as a Designer for Light Knits. Danielle quickly rose through the ranks and became the Head of Design for Women Casual in 2006, where they established a clear and innovative creative direction for the brand. Danielle also served as the Design Head for Sports, where they created a new collection from concept to final product, developed brand identity, and established a specialized team.

In 2009, Grümer joined Mexx as the Head of Design for Women. Here, they implemented a new design strategy and executed a consumer-focused collection for all product categories. Danielle also contributed to monthly key-looks and window statements.

Danielle then transitioned to a strategic consulting role at CBR Fashion Group in 2013, where they offered design and product consulting services. Danielle coached design management and teams and created a fresh brand vision and product look for the Cecil brand.

Grümer continued their consulting work at iheart, KiefermannGmbH in 2014. Danielle served as a Strategic Consultant and Creative Head for the women's collection, sourcing and developing new product areas in line with the brand's unique aesthetic.

In the same year, Grümer became the Creative Director at Charles Vögele Fashion (HK) Ltd., leading the introduction and implementation of a new overall creative handwriting. Danielle recruited and led a team of talented designers to develop creative concepts for all product departments.

Most recently, Grümer joined CBR Fashion Group in 2019 as the Head of Concept Design for CECIL, further showcasing their leadership and design skills.

Throughout their career, Grümer has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive creativity, innovate design strategies, and develop successful products and collections.

Danielle Grümer began their education by completing an apprenticeship as a Ladies Tailor at Atelier Roswitha Scholz from 1987 to 1990. Following that, they attended Kingston University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
