Val Achtemeier

Val Achtemeier is the Vice Chairman at CBRE in the Debt & Structured Finance Group, where they lead a team in placing debt and equity on commercial real estate across the United States. Previously, Val served as Vice President and Director of Capital Markets at Majestic Realty Co., raising capital for various property types and contributing to investment strategy. Val began their career at Principal Financial Group, gaining institutional experience in joint venture development and debt placement. They hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Iowa State University, earned in 1985.
