Barny Swainson

Barny Swainson has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on investment, capital markets, and land. Currently, they are the Head of Capital Markets - Investment & Land at CBRE Thailand, where they lead a team and oversees the sale of land and buildings, as well as joint venture partnerships and equity raising. Prior to this, Barny served as the Director of Investment & Land at CBRE. Barny also held the position of Director of Agency at Colliers International Thailand, where they provided advice to local and foreign companies on various real estate transactions. Before that, they worked as a Director at JLL and an Associate Director at Churston Heard. Their career in real estate started as a Retail Agent (Broker) at Harmer Ray Hoffbrand.

Barny Swainson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University, where they attended from 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Watford Grammar School from 1986 to 1994, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. In 2006, Barny Swainson obtained the certification of Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) from RICS.
