Chris McMain

Chris McMain has over 12 years of experience in the finance industry. Chris currently holds the position of Head of Loan Structuring, Credit Strategies at CBRE Investment Management since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Origination, Credit Strategies at the same company from November 2019. Before joining CBRE, Chris worked at Laxfield Capital for five years, starting in February 2014 as the Head of Investments for UK Whole Loan Fund. In November 2019, Laxfield Capital was acquired by CBRE Group Inc. and merged into the EMEA platform of CBRE Global Investors. Chris began their career at RBS in November 2007 as an Associate Director - Structured Real Estate Finance and held the position until February 2014.

Chris McMain attended Derby Grammar School from 1997 to 2004. Later, they attended Nottingham Trent University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Economics. In 2008 and 2009, Chris attended the London IFS School of Finance, where they pursued an Applied Diploma in Corporate Banking.
