Lillian Askins Lalo

Lillian Askins Lalo is an experienced broadcast journalist currently serving as the Morning News Anchor and co-anchor for 2.5 hours of local news on CBS 42 since June 2014. In addition to this role, Lillian also holds the position of Living Local Host at Nexstar Media and works as a Wake Up Alabama reporter. Prior to CBS 42, Lillian worked at WAAY-TV from May 2011 to May 2014 as a reporter and multimedia journalist, hosting segments like "The Daily Dose" and "What's Right in Your Community." Lillian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
