Melissa Hasberry, JD, is an accomplished news producer with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as a news producer at WIAT CBS42 and WIAT 42 since March 2017, Melissa has also been a news producer at FOX6 News since March 2006, where the focus has been on producing award-winning shows that inform viewers across Alabama. Melissa's career includes a prior role as a senior news producer from March 2006 to December 2015, demonstrating leadership in the newsroom as both a producer and reporter. In terms of education, Melissa is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham while holding a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Birmingham School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
