Danny Giles

Danny Giles is an experienced video operator and engineer with a diverse background in broadcast production. Currently serving as a Video Operator/Engineer at CBS News since June 2019, Danny works on high-profile programs such as CBS Evening News and Face The Nation. In addition to this role, Danny has been a Video Engineer for the United Nations since August 2014, where responsibilities include setting up equipment for the UN General Assembly and operating robotic and studio cameras. As a freelancer, Danny has collaborated with various organizations including Disney ABC Television Group, where duties involve color shading cameras, and Bloomberg TV, managing robotic cameras and ensuring live broadcast integrity. Danny's career also includes a role at Al Jazeera Media Network, supervising technical operations and staff, and foundational experience at Manhattan Cable TV from 1988 to 1990 in TV production.
