Montrese Garner-Sampson

Montrese Garner-Sampson, MS, SHRM-CP, PHR, serves as Vice President at CBS News since June 2019, bringing extensive experience in human resources management. With a long tenure at the Associated Press since 2005 as a Regional Human Resources Management Professional, Montrese handles employee and industrial relations for a diverse workforce, including both unionized and non-union staff. Montrese previously held the position of HR Director at Anderson Automotive Group, overseeing all human resources functions, including payroll and compliance. Additionally, Montrese contributes as a Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Volunteer and Advisory Board Member at YWCA Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, starting in 1993. Montrese earned an MS in Applied Behavioral Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University.
