Tom Lavecchia

Tom LaVecchia is a seasoned broadcasting professional with extensive experience in technical directing and production. Currently serving as Senior Technical Director at CBS News since September 2014, LaVecchia leads the live directors' team for CBS News's 24/7 streaming network. Notably, Tom played a pivotal role in launching CBSN, overseeing the creation of show designs and operational procedures. Previous experience includes directing for MetLife Stadium's NFL interactive fan experience and working as a technical director for major networks such as CNN and WNBC. Tom holds a B.S. in Video/TV and Business from Hofstra University and began their career with various internship roles.
