Sophia Doumani

Sophia Doumani is an experienced journalist and community engagement specialist, currently serving as a Reporter and Anchor at CBS2 Boise since July 2023. In this role, Sophia focuses on community storytelling and manages daily content production for multiple platforms, while also filling in as an evening anchor. Previously, Sophia worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho as a Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist, leading recruitment and outreach efforts. Earlier positions include Television Host at CBS, where Sophia created a local business-focused show, and Multimedia Journalist at Sinclair Broadcast Group, where responsibilities included anchoring and live reporting. Other experiences encompass internships with organizations such as the NFL and Children's Health, along with early reporting roles at Texas Christian University, where Sophia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Communications.
