Carlos Jimenez is an experienced educator with a strong focus on mathematics and engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Instructor and Adjunct Instructor at CBT Technology Institute since July 2019, Carlos also holds a position as Adjunct Faculty at MDC since November 2018, specializing as a Mathematic Professor for Upward Bound. Carlos's teaching career includes roles such as Math and Engineering Instructor at Mater Academy Charter High School and Professor of Engineering at LBA Academy. Previous experience encompasses teaching mechanical engineering at Miami Sunset Senior High and various math subjects at Management Resources College and UAC School of Global Management. Carlos holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Lenin Institute of Naval Construction and another Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State Marine Institute of Naval Construction in St. Petersburg, Russia.

CBT is certified by the U.S. Department of Education, licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), and under the regulation of the Florida's Statewide Numbering System. CBT Technology Institute was founded in 1988 by Fernando and Gladys Llerena with the mission to prepare and graduate students with the highest moral, technical and professional excellence who will build a better life for themselves, their families and their community.
