Carmen Hartford has a strong background in network engineering and IP communications. Carmen started their career in 1995 at DPS, where they designed, installed, and maintained LAN/WAN infrastructures for various businesses. Carmen then worked as a Chief Network Engineer at Computer Centerline, overseeing network integration projects and implementing network security products. Carmen continued their career at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP as a Network Engineer/IP Telephony Specialist, where they provided network engineering and support for a regional law firm.

In 2007, Carmen joined First Financial Bancorp as a Senior IP Communications Engineer, where they were responsible for high-level design, implementation, and maintenance of IP communications and contact center environments. Carmen also provided support for network infrastructure projects.

In 2014, Carmen joined Lumenate as a Senior Collaboration Consultant, where they provided pre-sales support and post-sales planning, design, and implementation of collaboration solutions. Carmen also served as a Collaboration Practice Manager, configuring bills-of-material and supporting managed services as a 3rd-level escalation resource.

Most recently, Carmen worked at CBTS as a Cisco VoIP Engineer, deploying on-premise Cisco unified communications solutions and on-boarding Managed Services clients.

Throughout their career, Carmen has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, collaboration solutions, and IP communications.

Carmen Hartford's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Capella University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute, completing their studies from 1992 to 1994.

In terms of certifications, Carmen has obtained several from Cisco. In 2000, they obtained a CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification. Later, in 2006, they received a Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice (CCNP Voice) certification. In 2015, Carmen obtained the CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional) certification. Their most recent certification, acquired in 2018, is the Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) certification.

Furthermore, Carmen earned an ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014.
