Mike McDaniel

Mike McDaniel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike currently serves as a Sr. Cyber Security Project Manager at CBTS since March 2020. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2020, they worked at CDW as a Project Manager. Before that, they held the position of Business Technology Consultant / Network Engineering at CBTS from 2006 to 2012. From 2002 to 2006, Mike worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Technology Strategist. In this role, they conducted various tasks such as developing technical support and sales process workflows, providing project management methodologies for website projects, managing a team of technical and design resources, and completing IT security audits for financial firms. Prior to their role as an Independent Consultant, Mike worked as a Solution Architect at GE ITS from 2001 to 2003. Mike also gained experience as a Project Manager / Student at Certification Project from 2000 to 2001, as well as a Network Engineer at John Morrell & Co. from 1998 to 2000 and at XL Connect from 1993 to 1996.

Mike McDaniel’s education history includes the following:

From 1988 to 1990, they attended Judson University, where they studied Computer Information Sciences.

In 2014, Mike completed a course in Permaculture Design at Perma Ethos Permaculture.

During the same year, they also obtained a Permaculture Design Certificate from Solid Ground Farm.

In 2015, Mike pursued Timber framing construction at Grand Oaks Timber Framing.

From 2019 to 2020, they enrolled in a Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy program at Seasons Holistic Arts and obtained the RYT 200 degree.

Additionally, in April 2015, Mike received ITIL V3 Foundation certification from ITIL.
