Myooran Mahalingam

Myooran Mahalingam has extensive work experience in the field of asset management and portfolio construction. Myooran is currently the Head of Equity Manager Selection and Portfolio Construction at Cbus Super Fund, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Global Equities & Emerging Markets at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Cbus Super Fund, Mahalingam worked at MLC Asset Management for over two decades. Myooran held various roles during their tenure, including Portfolio Manager for Global Equities & Listed Property from 2013 to 2022. Myooran also served as an Investment Analyst and part of the Manager Research team, conducting qualitative and quantitative research on investment managers, negotiating investment fees, and assessing commercial opportunities. Earlier in their career at MLC, they were an Acting Portfolio Manager for Global Equities and an Investment Analyst for the Manager Research team, covering Australian equities, global equities, and global emerging markets. Mahalingam also worked as an Investment Analyst in the Asset Allocation team, where they were responsible for building and tailoring multi-sector portfolio asset allocations.
