Kamran Jawed

Kamran Jawed, PhD, serves as the Scientific Team Lead at CC Bio since July 2025, following a tenure as Senior Scientist and Scientist at FabricNano from October 2021 to June 2025, focusing on microbial fermentation, bioprocess optimization, and recombinant protein production. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at the University of Nottingham, specializing in gas fermentation and biopolymer production, and a Research Scholar position at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where work centered on fermentation and synthetic biology. Kamran's academic background includes a PhD in Biotechnology from ICGEB/Jamia Hamdard, where the doctoral thesis addressed metabolic engineering of E. coli for biofuel production, as well as a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia.
