Dominique Pignolet is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience since September 1997 at Lawfirm PIGNOLET. A cum laude graduate in law from the University of Leuven in 1995, Dominique also holds a Master’s degree in tax law, obtained in 2001 from the same institution, also with cum laude honors. In addition to practicing law, Dominique serves as an affiliated researcher in matrimonial law at KULeuven and holds various roles in notable organizations, including membership on the Committee for Study and Legislation of the van de Koninklijke Federatie van het Belgisch Notariaat, and participation in the Committee on Family & Succession Law for the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe. Dominique is an active lecturer in family law with the Orde van Vlaamse Balies and has held several other significant positions including deputy judge for the FOD Justitie SPF Justice and member of the scientific committee at IGO.

CCBE
The CCBE is recognised as the voice of the European legal profession representing, through its members, more than 1 million European lawyers. CCBE membership includes the bars and law societies of 45 countries from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and wider Europe. The CCBE represents European bars and law societies in their common interests before European and other international institutions.
