Kameron Bahia

Kameron Bahia is a data scientist at Castleton Commodities International since April 2023, focusing on domains such as oil, shipping, weather, and clean products. Prior to this role, Kameron served as a machine learning engineer at HSBC from July 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included technical leadership for a large product recommendation project utilizing ALS, clustering, and GBM models. Kameron also held positions as a graduate data scientist and big data engineer, developing a peer segmentation model and working on productionizing big data pipelines with spark-scala, Jenkins, and Airflow. Earlier experiences include a student mentor at MyTutor.co.uk, a technology summer analyst at Morgan Stanley, and a summer intern at Tata Technologies, where skills in Scala, full-stack development, and database design were demonstrated. Kameron holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Warwick and an International Baccalaureate from King Edwards School.
