Michael Bynum

Michael Bynum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in trading and finance. Currently serving as a Natural Gas Trader at Castleton Commodities International since June 2021, Bynum previously held the same position at Repsol from October 2013 to May 2021, overseeing daily gas operations across the Midcontinent, Midwest, and East Canada regions. Bynum’s earlier career includes roles as a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Camelot Realty Group and as a Stock Broker/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where portfolio management and client advisory were key responsibilities. Bynum began a notable career as a professional baseball player with the San Diego Padres after being a first-round draft choice, achieving All-Star selections in various leagues and competing in the Major Leagues from 2003 to 2005. Bynum holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
