Gaurav Singh is VP of Architecture and Verification for all products at Xilinx. Gaurav has served in engineering, management and strategic roles in his career. He started his career as a circuit and logic designer on the K6 microprocessor and part of the verification team on Opteron design. He then built switch fabrics and L2/L3 switches at RMI and then architected and built the MIPS CPU that eventually became the XLP processor. Prior to Xilinx he was VP of Engineering and Product development at APM responsible for the PowerPC and then ARM v8 processors. He has a masters’ degree in EE from the University of Southern California.
