David Young

David Young is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in logistics and technology. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at CCL Logistics & Technology since November 2017, David has previously held the position of Technical Director at Kyria Ltd from April 2003 to February 2019 and at Cygnet Technology Ltd. from April 2000 to March 2003. Earlier in the career, David worked as a Senior Engineer at British Energy from 1991 to 2000. David holds both an MEng and a PhD in Manufacturing Science & Engineering and Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where education was completed between 1984 and 1991, and is a graduate of Port Glasgow High School.
