John McDougall has extensive experience in equity analysis and investment management. Currently, McDougall serves in a Global Equities role at CCLA Investment Management since January 2025. Prior to this, McDougall was an European Equity Analyst at Ninety One from November 2018 to November 2024, focusing on Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Media, and Business Services sectors. McDougall spent six years as an Equity Analyst at Rathbone Brothers Plc, primarily concentrating on UK equities while generating investment ideas and contributing to investment processes. An early career included an internship as an M&A Analyst at Herax Partners and a fixed-term Analyst position at Deloitte, recognized with two Limelight Awards for exceptional contributions. McDougall holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of York and an MSc in Financial Mathematics with Distinction from the University of Leeds.
