Maxwell Friedman is an accomplished research professional with extensive experience in municipal labor relations and health care policy. Currently serving as the Research Manager at the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities since February 2018, Maxwell leads the research staff and focuses on relevant municipal issues. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Analyst and Associate Research Analyst at the Universal Health Care Foundation of CT, where initiatives included designing a giving program and drafting donor communications. Maxwell has also contributed to health care initiatives through the Connecticut Choosing Wisely Collaborative. Early career experience involved various administrative and research internships, including positions within the U.S. House of Representatives and support roles at prominent organizations such as the Brookings Institution. Maxwell holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Political Science from American University.
