Prithy Babu Ph.D

Prithy Babu Ph.D has extensive work experience in the field of immunology. Prithy is currently a Senior Scientist- Immunology at CCS Associates, Inc. Prithy previously worked as a Scientist/ Product Manager at BioVision, an Abcam company in 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Scientist in Immunology at the University of Guelph from 2006 to 2019. Prithy also worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at ICGEB from 1999 to 2001, and as a Research Scientist at the National Institute of Immunology (NII) from 1993 to 1999. Their earlier experience includes being a Research Scientist at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1990 to 1993. Prithy Babu Ph.D's expertise lies in allergic immune responses and immunotherapy.

Prithy Babu Ph.D has a strong educational background in the field of biology and genetics. From 1985 to 1988, they attended the University of Madras and earned a degree in Zoology. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued a degree in Bio-Medical Genetics at the same university. In 1990, they furthered their studies and obtained an M.Phil in Genetics, specializing in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Madras. Finally, from 2001 to 2006, Prithy Babu Ph.D attended the University of Guelph and completed a Ph.D in Allergy and Immunology.
