Vann has significant experience in capital, endowment, and comprehensive campaigns, leadership gift fundraising, Case for Support development, grant writing, volunteer management, and prospect research. Va. She strives to bring high levels of innovation and creativity to these critical pieces on every client partnership.

Most recently, Vann has worked with Howard University to strategically engineer its upcoming campaign rooted in systemic philanthropy—philanthropy targeted to challenge the challengers of America’s core principles. She has led a focused major gifts initiative with University leadership, securing record-breaking gifts for the University. Prior, Vann led a team of ten staff across South Carolina in a $60,000,000 comprehensive campaign for the Diocese of Charleston. Over $70,000,000 has been raised, including 52 seven- and six-figure gifts. Vann also established and managed the 13- member Board of Directors for the Diocesan Foundation.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vann shifted the team’s focus to the most urgent priority—offertory—where she developed and launched a unique program (S.E.C.U.R.E.) that increased offertory by 254% in five (5) weeks. The SE.C.U.R.E. program has already been implemented in ten (10) other dioceses
