Alexander Mir

Alexander Mir is a scientist and project manager specializing in molecular biology and genetics. Currently serving as a Research Associate at the City University of New York City College since 2012 and as a Research Scientist & Project Manager at CD Genomics since 2022, Alexander's expertise is dedicated to supporting research initiatives at various levels. Previously, Alexander held positions as a Research Associate and Core Facility Manager at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing on liver diseases and developmental biology, and worked as a Line Cook at Veritas Restaurant from 2005 to 2007. Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University, an Associate’s Degree in Classic Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the City University of New York City College, expected to be completed in 2025.
