Dr Geoff Loane

Dr. Geoff Loane is a seasoned humanitarian practitioner and educator with over 25 years of experience in crisis management and education in emergencies. They currently serve as the Chair of the CDAC Network, where they empower local communities to lead in crisis management. Previously, Dr. Loane headed the Education Department for the International Committee of the Red Cross, establishing programs to support education in conflict-affected areas. They have also been a faculty member at University College Dublin and have authored numerous works on humanitarian assistance and policy. Dr. Loane resides along the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland and maintains interests in travel, hill walking, and middle-distance running.
