Jeannine Jacokes has extensive work experience in the field of community development and finance. Jeannine started their career as a Presidential Management Intern and Community Development Specialist at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1988. Jeannine then worked as a Professional Staff Member for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs from 1990 to 1995. In 1995, they joined the U.S. Department of Treasury as a Senior Program Manager. In 2001, they took on the role of Chief Executive and Policy Officer at the Community Development Bankers Association. At the same time, they also became the Chief Executive Officer of Partners for the Common Good, a national nonprofit loan fund that helps community-based lenders expand their services. Jeannine's expertise lies in managing liquidity and implementing policy in the community development and finance sectors.
Jeannine Jacokes has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids. Additionally, they hold a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
