Verla Neslund is the Acting Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel at the CDC Foundation. They have previously served as Vice President for Programs at the CDC Foundation from 2005 to 2016 and held multiple roles within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2003 to 2015, including Senior Projects Advisor and Chief Learning Officer. Verla obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law and a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.
