Ann Hardie

Ann Hardie is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in health communication and storytelling. Currently serving as a Health Communication Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention within the Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch, Ann works in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. Prior experience includes roles as a Public Affairs Specialist and Health Communication Specialist during the COVID-19 response, and a Manager of Storytelling at Habitat for Humanity International, where Ann generated content to advocate for affordable housing. Ann’s background also includes a distinguished tenure as a staff writer at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where Ann received accolades for investigative journalism. Ann holds a BA in English from the University of Notre Dame, recognized as a Notre Dame Scholar, and a certificate from Harvard University in the publishing industry.
