Bryan Christensen

Associate Director for Preparedness and Response

Bryan Christensen is the Associate Director for Preparedness and Response in the Division of High Consequence Pathogens and Pathology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They also serve as adjunct faculty at Emory University School of Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to their current role, Bryan worked as an epidemiologist and industrial hygienist at CDC's National Center for Emerging Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases and held various positions within the CDC, including Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. They earned a PhD in Environmental Health Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and are currently a Visiting Scholar at the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health, Uniformed Services University.
