Courtney Price is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in epidemiology and health research. Currently serving as a Public Health Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since February 2017, Courtney has contributed to critical public health initiatives as a Chenega Contractor. Previously, Courtney held the role of Principal Health Research Analyst as a Northrop Grumman Contractor. Between October 2011 and February 2017, Courtney was the Project Director at the YMCA of Newark and Vicinity, where successful management of a five-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation enabled the implementation of strategic health initiatives and the formation of key partnerships focused on reducing childhood obesity. Prior experiences include directing health and nutrition services for early childhood programs at the Newark Preschool Council and serving as a Cook/Rutledge Fellow at the NJ Department of Health. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Project Management from Emory University, a Master of Public Health from Rutgers Graduate School - Newark, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University.
