Senior Health Scientist And Team Lead at CDC

Diane Harris currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Emory University since January 2014 and has held the position of Senior Health Scientist and Team Lead for Healthy Food Environments at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since August 2009. Diane was previously a Board Member for Georgia Organics from February 2009 to February 2015 and worked as an Associate Research Professor in the Division of Digestive Diseases at UCLA from May 1996 to September 2012, where Diane was a principal investigator under the UCLA Center for Excellence in Pancreatic Diseases. Additionally, Diane was an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during 2008-2009 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular endocrinology at Washington University from 1995 to 1996. Educationally, Diane holds a Master of Public Health in Prevention Science from Emory University, a Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis.
