Emmanuel Jawe Kimera FCCA, MBA is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in public health budgeting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Public Health Budget Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since September 2017, Emmanuel demonstrates expertise in establishing financial procedures, budget processes, and internal controls. Previously, as the Head of the Finance Department at CDC Uganda from March 2010 to May 2017, Emmanuel advised the Uganda Country Director on a substantial annual budget exceeding $200 million. Earlier roles included Chief Accountant and Budget Analyst within the same organization, managing significant budgets and providing strategic financial advice. Emmanuel holds an MBA in Financial Services from the University of East London and a degree in Accountancy from Makerere University Business School.
