Fuyuen Yip is currently the Foundational Data Lead in the Actionable Data Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they have held various leadership roles in public health since 2004. As a Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, they have also served as an Epidemiologist and held chief positions in several branches focused on environmental health. Fuyuen completed a fellowship at the Association of Schools of Public Health between 1996 and 1998, and they are pursuing a PhD in Environmental Health Science at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, along with a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bryn Mawr College.
