K Wheldon

K Wheldon is an accomplished professional in the field of psychology with extensive experience in public safety and emergency response. Currently serving as a National Occupational Research Agenda- Public Safety Sector Council Member at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as Principal of the Emergency Responders Occupational Health Committee with the National Fire Protection Association, K Wheldon contributes expert knowledge to enhance occupational health standards. As Clinical Director at Wheldon Psychological Services Inc., K Wheldon provides psychological support to firefighters and their families, addressing a range of issues including substance abuse. Additionally, K Wheldon serves as a Contract Instructor at the National Fire Academy and has held leadership positions such as President of the Fire Service Psychology Association and Director of Behavioral Health at the Los Angeles City Fire Department. K Wheldon earned a Doctor of Psychology and a Master's Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University-Los Angeles.
