Lawrence Scholl

Lawrence Scholl is an experienced health scientist currently serving as Team Lead for the Program Evaluation Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since July 2016. Prior to this role, Lawrence worked as an Epidemiologist and EIS Officer within the CDC's Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention, focusing on overdose epidemiology and surveillance. Lawrence's earlier experience includes serving as a Social/Clinical Research Specialist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, consulting for state public health and mental health divisions, and as a Project Manager at ICF International. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
