Michael Larrañaga

Michael Larrañaga is a process and risk consultant who currently serves as President of R.E.M. Risk Consultants and Chief Science Officer of Safeguard EnviroGroup. Michael is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene and has established themselves as an expert in occupational safety, environmental health, and risk management, advising various multinational organizations and government bodies worldwide. Michael's past roles include being a member of several advisory boards, including the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health and the Scientific/Technical Advisory Committee for the World Trade Center Health Program. They have held academic positions at institutions such as Oklahoma State University and Texas Tech University, contributing significantly to research and innovation in safety and risk management.
