Robert Slaughter is the Deputy Associate Director for Programs and Management at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they apply over a decade of public health experience. A twenty-four year Army veteran, they served as a Lieutenant Colonel and built a reputation for leadership and communication skills in military intelligence. They founded Smart Growth Forsyth County, Inc. to advocate for community-driven development and currently serve as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the JunneBug Foundation. With a strong background in strategic planning and operations, Robert continues to make impactful contributions across various sectors.
