Scott Bowen

Scott Bowen is the Deputy Director of the Office of Genomics and Precision Public Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They have a rich background, having served as a Non-Commissioned Officer and Computer Programmer/Analyst in the US Army, and have held various leadership roles at CDC, including Management Officer and Deputy Director for Public Health Surveillance and Informatics. Scott is recognized for developing impactful public health innovations and partnerships, as well as their expertise in budgeting and program management. They hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics at Georgia State University.
