Temitope Afolayan

Temitope Afolayan has a strong background in finance and banking, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Most recently, they served as an Investment Director at CDC Group plc since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank from August 2015 to September 2019, where they held the position of Director - Loan Syndications, Africa. From 2010 to 2015, they were Vice President and Head of Anglophone Africa at Ecobank Development Company. Temitope also worked as a Business Development Manager at Standard Bank Group from 2009 to 2010 and as a Banking Operations Officer at Royal Bank of Scotland from 2008 to 2009. Earlier in their career, they held Relationship Manager roles at Zenith Bank Plc from 2003 to 2007 and United Bank For Africa PLC from 2000 to 2001.

Temitope Afolayan holds a Master's Degree in Energy Finance from CEPMLP, University of Dundee, United Kingdom, earned in 2008. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Ibadan in 2000.
