Carlos Soto has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2013, they worked as a Programmer at BTG Pactual. In 2014, they served as an Analyst at the same company. From 2017 to 2019, Carlos worked at Citi as an Analyst. In 2017, they also had a summer internship at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Summer Analyst. In 2019, Carlos joined Single Family Office as a Portfolio Manager and Investor in Impact VC & PE. Carlos then moved on to TIMining in 2021 as a CFO until 2022. From July 2022 to November 2022, Carlos held the position of CFO at Justo. Currently, they are an Associate Director of Investment Banking at Rubicon Capital Advisors starting in November 2022.
Carlos Soto has a Master of Finance degree in Economics/IT from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, along with an LL.M. degree in Corporate Law and a BBA degree from the same university. Carlos also completed an M&A program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. In addition, they participated in an International Exchange program at the University of Technology Sydney and obtained an MP&E degree from Berklee College of Music. Carlos also holds certifications in Full-Stack Engineer Career Path and TypeScript from Codecademy, and they are a CFA Level 2 Candidate certified by the CFA Institute. Carlos has also completed various courses related to financing and profitability, growth strategies, and pricing strategy from institutions such as The Wharton School and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
