David Mead serves as the Chief Executive Officer at CDC NSW since July 2023, having previously held the position of Chief Project Officer for Zero Emissions & Emerging Projects at ComfortDelGro Australia (CDC) from March to July 2023. David's extensive experience includes over a decade at Volvo Buses, where significant roles included Chairman of the Board of Directors for both Volvo Bus Thailand and Volvo Bus Hong Kong, focusing on statutory compliance and business operations in those markets. As Vice President for the Asia Pacific Region at Volvo Bus Corporation, David was responsible for strategic sales, financial operations, and government relations across multiple countries, achieving consistent gross sales of up to AUD$400 million. Prior roles at CNH spanned various managerial positions, culminating in General Manager of Shared Services. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Wollongong, an MBA in Marketing from Charles Sturt University, and has attended Harvard University for additional executive education.
