Jay Ellington

Jay Ellington began their work experience in 1989 as an Electrical Engineer at Booker Associates. Jay then transitioned to GECO Engineering in 1991 and worked as an Electrical Project Engineer until 1993. From 1993 to 1996, Jay returned to Booker Associates as an Electrical Project Engineer before joining The Pistrui Group as Vice President from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they joined CDG Engineers Architects Planners as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Currently, Jay is serving as the President of CDG Engineers, Inc. starting from January 2018.

Jay Ellington completed their Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology between 1981 and 1985. Jay then pursued an Electrical Engineering degree at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1997 to 1999, earning a BSEE. In terms of additional certifications, Jay became a Professional Engineer (PE) in several states and licensing boards, including Indiana, Louisiana, Idaho, Florida, Michigan, Virginia, Texas, and Illinois. These certifications were obtained between 1998 and 2018. Jay also holds pending certifications with the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation, the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, Engineers Nova Scotia, and the State of Wyoming.
