Gerard Payen

Gerard Payen is a seasoned professional in the automotive sector with extensive experience in management and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Partner at CDI Global M&A since December 2022, Gerard leads the Automotive practice. Gerard also holds positions as a Senior Management Advisor at iriskium and as a Board Member at HeliosLite. Additionally, Gerard is a Steering Committee Member and Chairman of the ERMINe Network and previously served as a Board Member for AMRAE until May 2022. Gerard's tenure at Renault spanned from 2001 to June 2021, where roles included VP, Chief Risk Officer, and VP, Senior Advisor, among others. Gerard earned a Ph.D. in Physics from both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Université de Rouen, complemented by education at INSEAD and Ecole Centrale Paris.
