Stuart Bishop has a strong work experience in the insurance industry. Stuart started their career in 1986 as a Technical Underwriter/Surveyor at General Accident. Stuart then moved on to John Scott & Partners Ltd, where they worked as a Broker/Delegated Underwriter, specializing in underwriting delegated authority Motor Trade schemes. At Independent Insurance, Stuart held various roles including Commercial Underwriter/Section Leader and Customer Service Manager. Stuart also worked as a Service Level Controller, managing IT service provision and overseeing major change programs. Currently, Stuart is the Chief Operating Officer at CDL Software, where they have played a key role in the strategic development and growth of the Production Division. Stuart has successfully expanded the unit's turnover from £1.1m to over £15m. Stuart also served as the Director of Service at CDL prior to their current role.

Stuart Bishop attended Southfields School from 1978 to 1985. Stuart did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study during their time at this school. Stuart also obtained several certifications over the years, including Advanced Level ISO 22301 Lead Implementer and ISO 22301 Foundation from IBITGQ in 2015, Companion Member of Institute of Customer Service in 2002, Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from ISEB in 2001, Certificate in IT for Insurance Professionals from CII/BCS in 2000, and Facilitators Skills Development Programme from Participlan in 1997.
